Where Did The Razor Come From?

The history of razors dates back to ancient Egypt, when a sharp tool made of stone was used. In ancient Greece, people began to use sharp metal knives to shave their beards. By the Roman period, razors were used to remove beards, and forms began to vary, including curved blades made of iron and serrated blades.

Until the 17th century, the razor began to gradually develop, from iron blades to steel blades. In 1762, Frenchman Jean-Jacques Perret invented the first razor with adjustable blades, and his invention made shaving easier and safer.

In the 19th century, the razor experienced a revolutionary change, due to the invention of steel blades, making shaving more convenient. In 1847, the British William Henson invented the first razor with a steel blade, and from then on, the razor began to develop into what it is today.
