Choose a good razor
Choosing the right razor is the first step to trimming the hair in the bikini area! To be honest, Xiao Bai does not recommend that you use hair removal cream in the bikini area, hair removal cream contains chemical ingredients, frequent use or sensitive skin, may cause redness and allergy.
Choosing a sharp, sturdy razor makes a big difference. Get rid of those rusty, toothless razor blades. Or you'll cry. Don't ask me how I know! Taking a rusty razor to trim Maomao, repeatedly pulling and rubbing the skin, can be said to be a great torture!
In addition, although the disposable razor is good for traveling, but it is really only disposable! Use it and throw it away. Don't abuse yourself
Preparatory work
Before trimming the hair in the bikini area, soak in the bathtub or take a shower to the key areas. The warm water will help soften the keratin and hair, making it easier to remove.
After soaking, you can gently scrub away dead skin cells with a damp towel.
Have shaving cream ready
Shaving cream generally has antibacterial and lubricating effects, which can effectively reduce the friction between the blade and the skin, thereby protecting the skin. When you shave the hair in the bikini area, you are also shaving the skin underneath the hair. If not lubricated with enough shaving cream, it is likely to bruise delicate skin.
It is recommended to choose a shaving cream with moisturizing ingredients, such as shea butter, olive oil and coconut oil, to provide the proper cushion for your razor. After cleaning the combat area, we apply a thin layer of shaving cream to it. Be careful not to apply too thick oh, you may not be able to see the skin below and hurt yourself.
Start trimming
In fact, the way you trim hair is very, very, very important, especially for those little white hands! The razor moves aimlessly back and forth in the Bikini area, making it easier to cut itself.
All you need to do is gently slide the razor in your hand and shave in the direction of hair growth, taking care to keep the blade down, but not too hard. If you are using a double-blade/multi-blade razor, try to do it all at once, because the more layers the blade slides back and forth, the easier it is to hurt sensitive areas.
Whether it's shaved or trimmed, it's up to you!
Skin care
When you are done trimming the fur, immediately wash off the fallen fur and gently dry it. Apply a calming product (preferably fragrance-free) to the bikini area to prevent irritation and burning.
You can use some tea tree oil, which is a natural anti-inflammatory and disinfectant and can help reduce the burning sensation caused by razors. If you feel tingling and burning after shaving, you can use some calming cream to reduce redness and pain.
Moisturize
After shaving the bikini area, make sure you moisturize. Apply a fragran-free, alcohol-free moisturizer to the bikini area. A product containing aloe vera/Jojoba oil/vitamin E is recommended to lock in moisture and prevent excessive dryness. If the skin is too dry, it may cause further skin irritation.
Clean the razor
After each shave, be sure to immediately disinfect the blade with alcohol or hot water. If your razor is rusty or has been used for a while, remember to throw it away. The blade that has been used 5 to 7 times can be replaced in time!
It is best not to put the razor in the wet bathroom, store it in a dry place.
Lovely! That's it for today's Bikini Area hair-trimming guide!
